As Time Goes BY...

Day by day, we find ourselves continuing on this journey called life.  So much has happened along the way, nevertheless, we press forward each new day not really knowing, yet looking forward with renewed excitement, to what that new day will bring. There are times when we experience laughter, anxiety, fear, sadness, joy, and so many of the emotions we feel from time to time. Nevertheless, the journey continue, and we embrace it as time goes by. We have faced, and are facing so many new and greater challenges, as the world as we know it is changing right before our eyes.  Nevertheless, we press onward, as we find that we are able to adjust to the many challenges that comes to us as times goes by. Tomorrow is a new day, and as we put behind the failures, and disappointments of yesterday, we are able to look to a new day knowing that it will be brighter, and perhaps better as time goes by.

Our Etsy Store

I have always loved Arts, and Crafts, I am especially interested in creating one of a kind Handmade creations.  Upon retirement from a verry long nursing career, I started making items for gifting, and also for the love of making things with my own hands.  I started making one of a kind very unique jewelry pieces, then I added other things such as household décor, accessories of various types, and much more. At the encouragement of my children, I decided to attempt at selling some of my creations, and on coming upon Etsy online, I decided to try selling some of my crafts via this venue. I love what I do, and I enjoy listing my handyworks on Etsy, It has and continue to be a journey for me.  So, now, I am inviting all of you my Blogger family to check out my Etsy store.  You might find something there that you will be interested in. Almost all of our items are Handmade, however we do carry some vintage items also.  Therefore, I'm inviting yo...

Reflections...

It certainly has been a very long time since I last made an entry.  So much has happened, that It is difficult to know where to begin; nevertheless, I will try to make this as short as possible, since there is so much to say, but so little time in which to say it. There seems to be no one who has not been affected in some way by the Coronavirus Pandemic that the entire world is facing at this time.  Who would have thought that we would be facing such a thing at this very time in history; notwithstanding, this is our present dilemma, and it is out of our control. These are very trying times indeed, and there is widespread fear, confusion, lack of trust in our government agencies, and on, and on it goes.  Who would have thought that the air in the great old USA would become so contaminated, that we would be forced to wear masks just as in some nations that America once called third world. Nevertheless, for those of us who have put our faith and trust in the...

Happy Thanksgiving 2017...

Happy Thanksgiving Day! Here is wishing all a very  happy Thanksgiving day, and hope that you will all enjoy the day as you celebrate with family, and friends, Even though times are very difficult for some, yet we are very grateful to God for the many blessings (known, and unknown) that He has bestowed upon us.  We are thankful for our loved ones that are still with us, and we are very thankful for God keeping us safe during the hurricane period this year. I thank God for keeping me in my heath and strength, and most of all for keeping me in my right mind. I also thank Him for my children, and for all those who love, and pray for me. "Count your blessings, name them one by one, count your blessings see what God has done; count your blessings, name them one by one; and it will surprise you what the Lord has done" HAPPY THANKSGIVING, Pastor Jean

New Places

New Places Recently, we re-located to Charlotte North Carolina, and It has been quite an adventure for us thus far.  So much has happened in such a short space of time that we are hardly able to keep up with it.  We have had good times, and sad times, however, I find that we can take away much learning, from every experience we live.  The human spirit is quite resilient, and so, we are able to cope in difficult times, especially for those of us who have placed our faith and trust in the Lord. Charlotte is a very beautiful place, and it is a growing and progressive city.  Here you are culturally refreshed, as there is always something going on just about every weekend that comes. Here you can find many historical places that one have read of in the history books at school, causing the past to come alive as you experience the way of life of times gone by.  There are also many of natures so breathtakingly beautiful natural scenarios, filling the majestic lan...

Another day older...

This week I celebrated another birthday, and had a wonderful day with family. It seems as if now more than ever, birthday celebration means so much more to me. You see, I am in my senior years; each time another day goes by, I feel so much more thankful to have made it this far. I am begining to look at life much differently than I did before. A few years ago, I entered a period of depression as I began to experience the passing of so many of my family, and friends. It seemed as if I just could not get myself together, and lacked the motivation to even want to get out of bed. This continued for much longer than I care to remember. My mother always would tell us that time was the best healer of all, and this I found to be true. As time passed, I realized that I still had a lot to look forward to, and as my focus changed, I began to see aging as a new chapter in life, or another leg on this wonderful journey. I came to realize that there was still much to contrib...

It has been a while...

It certainly has been a while since I have made an entrance, nevertheless, i am checking in to greet everyone, and at the same time to update my blogs. I am hoping to keep up better with my blogging as time permits, and to re-organize my activities. I find that there seems to be so much to do, and so very little time in which to do it. As so many others like myself, I have overextended my time, and the things that I do. Now, I have come to realize that I need to streamline, and prioritize much of what I do, especially with my time. So now, i am still in the process of eliminating much of those activities that only take up time, but are non-productive in the end. For this reason, I have had to limit my participation in much of the social media activity, as it is so easy to get involved with too many sites, and not be able to keep up. I find that if you are not careful, social media can eat up most if not all of your time. The ministry is first and foremost in my life, and...
